TeleData Facilities

TeleData’s industry leading edge facilities have been developed purely with the customer in mind, from location, connectivity, security, resilience and environmental impact. Teledata has invested in technology and infrastructure to exceed customers’ requirements and expectations.

TeleData’s two data centres (TD1 and TD2) are powered by its own by diversely routed feeds direct from the National Grid which is in turn relays power to their own on-site high voltage transformer. TeleData provisions auxiliary power backup by its own diesel generation plant with on-site fuel supply to power the facilities for a minimum of three days, Auxiliary power provision is further enhanced by contracts and agreed service levels with local suppliers to re-fuel so as to provide power indefinitely.

When it comes to plant and machinery, TeleData have stringent criteria for selecting suppliers and equipment whose selection is based on efficiency, maintainability, reliability and performance. UPS systems are MHT400 Master Plus systems by Riello, the diesel generation plant is by Caterpillar and Close Control Cooling by Stulz. TeleData facilities and equipment are systematically checked, following their own stringent processes and change control procedures ensuring that all critical equipment is routinely checked and under 24 hour a day and 365 days a year maintenance cover with rapid response times guaranteed from all key maintenance suppliers.

In addition to the comprehensive maintenance cover. TeleData hold an inventory of critical spare parts which are stored securely on-site and available should the need arise. In addition to TeleData’s state of the art facilities, the TeleData technical team has extensive experience in running and maintaining mission critical operations. TeleData’s motivated management team ensure that the operations run to the ISO 9001 standard and employ a stringent Change Control process throughout the organisation, ensuring any opportunities to improve efficiency are identified and mitigated.
