Introduction

Shared workspace has become big business in recent years. The popularity of incubators offering office space and services to startups and growing businesses has increased to the point where competition is fierce. Incubators want to tailor their USPs on the breadth, flexibility and quality of the services they can provide to their customers, from high-speed internet and printing, to training courses and events.

The Challenge

Our client is one of the largest technical incubators in Manchester, providing their members with the best in technology from 5G internet, to 3D printing and VR technologies. They also introduce members that could work well together, hosting regular networking events to give businesses the best opportunities to grow.

Without exception, every one of their members had some requirement for data centre services, from cloud hosting to full colocation solutions. Our client wanted to be able to recommend the best Manchester data centre facility for their members, while offering them a discount on the services available.

 

What we Delivered

We worked together with our client to design a bespoke partnership scheme that enabled them to maximise on a discounted rate, creating excellent value for money and cost efficiencies for their members, whilst generating a strong USP against the client’s competitors through a resilient, reliable hosting partner recommendation at a reduced price. 

We developed a co-branded marketing solution so that our client could educate its members around TeleData’s services using information packs which featured their own branding. We also conducted tours of our data centre facility for the client’s employees, so that everyone could get a good understanding of what we offer, and also to members that wanted to utilise our services. 

 

The Outcome

Partnering with TeleData as a community partner gave our client the opportunity to add a real value-add service to its portfolio. Already standing out technically through its offering of 5G internet and 3D printing, the addition of premium cloud hosting, colocation and the additional services on offer from TeleData including work area recovery, disaster recovery and technical support, further strengthened our client’s brand and reputation as Manchester’s largest and most technically advanced business incubator.
