Due to the popularity of TD1, Teledata opened TD2 in 2012. By providing more space we were able to take on more UK businesses as clients, and provide the very best in colocation space and hosting solutions.
There are many data centres in the UK, but TD2 saw Teledata compete with some of the UK's most established hosting companies in terms of size, and with our continuous investment into enhancing the infrastructure and providing the very best in service and support, Teledata became well known in Manchester and across the UK as one of the most resilient and secure data centre facilities in the UK.
TD2 was never going to be the end. We fully own and manage the 70,000ft2 Delta House building, which means we had the flexibility to open at least another two data centres on our Manchester site and still have the space to do more. We continually work to update the technology in TD1 and TD2, with many UK businesses taking advantage of our ongoing commitment to providing the very best in energy efficiency, evolving best practice and pioneering uptime technologies.
