Data Centre Sales Professional, Matthew Edgley Joins Colocation Provider TeleData as Sales Director

MANCHESTER, U.K. — October 9th, 2013 — TeleData, one of the North West’s leading data centre and colocation providers, today announced that Matthew Edgley has joined the company’s Management team as their Sales Director.

 

Reporting to the TeleData Board of Directors, Edgley will be responsible for revenue generation, client retention and brand development for the company and will spearhead the existing sales team as the Manchester based colocation provider continues to grow.

He has a strong and proven background in business to business sales, accompanied by a highly competent and a knowledgeable consultative approach. His positions at IFL, Telecity and London Data Exchange have seen him develop a real name for himself within the industry. Matt brings with him a great understanding of the colocation, telecommunications and data centre outsourcing industries and this news will help to drive our growth targets in these areas. Prior to joining TeleData, Edgley worked as Sales Manager for IFL where he was responsible for sales & marketing strategy, building turnover from less than 500k through to the company’s sale for more than £20million in 2010. Edgley subsequently worked for TelecityGroup, where he was directly responsible for sales and client retention within their Manchester facilities.

More recently Matt was a Director at London Data Exchange, a high quality new entrant to the London Data Centre marketplace.
